Find Out More About the Allen, Plano and North Dallas Area Economy & Job Market

The local economy of the Dallas/Fort Worth area (metroplex) is extremely diverse. High Technology is very strong across the area. Companies such as Texas Instruments, Motorola, Hewlett Packard and Electronic Data Systems are just a few of the American companies that inhabit this area. There are many high tech companies from outside the U. S. that are major employers in this market as well. Companies such as; Fujitsu, Hitachi, and Alcatel.

Aerospace is another major industry in the area. Companies such as Lockheed, LTV, and American Airlines are huge employers in this market. Companies such as General Motors, Volkswagen and other automotive companies are scattered across the metroplex. Oil and gas have always been big in Texas and The DFW area is also home to many of the largest companies in the U.S. The large discovery of gas deposits known as the Barnett Shale area has brought thousands of jobs to people who have to come to our area.

The Dallas/Fort Worth area is one of the fastest growing areas in the U. S. The reasons for this continuing growth is because of the tax incentives the area provides for relocating companies and because Texas has no state income tax. The whole area is dynamic and exciting. There are more restaurants than in New York City!

The attraction for business, entertainment, and the warm Texas welcome of "How Ya'll Doing" will greet those who decide to make this area their home. "Come on down".

Real Estate Tips

Real Estate Contracts >Legal Documents

The stacks of papers that you have to sign in order to buy a house can leave you confused. The person conducting the closing will ask you to sign your name to countless documents that are filled with legal jargon. Some buyers just barely glance at each form and sign them without a lot of questions, while others find it very frustrating to try to read every form at the closing table.

You should read and understand the papers you sign. If you are getting a loan to buy the property, most of the paperwork will come from the mortgage company. In most cases, there is little time to read everything in advance because the forms arrive at the closing office shortly before closing is scheduled to begin. Most of the documents use standardized language, however, and you should be able to get copies of the documents ahead of time from the lender so that you can have your questions answered and be comfortable with the settlement process.
